The Spokester job » A tailor-made opportunity for a talented and creative young person

At the heart of each regional program is a full-time Young & Free Spokester. No cue cards. No scripts. Just a young person being themselves creating a buzz and positioning a progressive credit union as a great choice for young people.

THE SEARCH

Each of our Young & Free partner credit unions hire a regional Young & Free Spokester annually. Applicants submit a 60-second YouTube video and a blog post and then all applicants are voted on by the public. The top 15 applicants move on to the judging phase and the person most suitable for the job becomes the Spokester. The process feels very much like a cross between American Idol and the Apprentice!

THE GIG

The winner gets the Young & Free Spokester title for a year with a great salary and gear. The job involves blogging five times per week, creating a fresh video every week, contributing to the Living Young & Free Show, connecting on Twitter and Facebook and representing the credit union at local events. It really is the ultimate job for an outgoing, talented, tech-savvy young adult.
